Asynchronously reads the next JSON token from the source as a String.

Parameters

cancellationToken (Optional)
Type: System.ThreadingCancellationToken
The token to monitor for cancellation requests. The default value is None.

Return Value

Type: TaskString
A TaskTResult that represents the asynchronous read. The Result property returns the String. This result will be null at the end of an array.
Remarks
Derived classes must override this method to get asynchronous behaviour. Otherwise it will execute synchronously, returning an already-completed task.
